General travel conditions
Additional conditions: Given the nature of the trips we offer, different conditions apply in terms of (deposit) costs and cancellation fees. The daily programs are described in detail to give the most accurate picture of the trips.
Nevertheless, there are factors that can influence the implementation, such as changed schedules, broken roads, bad weather or material failures. We expressly reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary, daily program, accommodation, transportation or excursions in advance or on site if required by special circumstances. In such a case, of course, you can be sure that we will do everything possible to maintain the quality and character of the trip as much as possible. Additional travel and accommodation costs incurred due to force majeure may be charged to participants. In the event that any of the accommodations offered are unexpectedly cancelled, we will reserve alternative accommodations of equal value for you. We are not responsible for excursions where Tanzania Specialist B.V. does not act as an agent. Our offers are based on the local taxes and duties in effect at the time. If there are any changes in local taxes and/or duties between the time this offer is made and your departure, we reserve the right to pass on any new local taxes and/or duties to you.
Prices:
All prices on nounteerandsafariexperts.com are per person, based on two people participating (unless otherwise noted) and are in US dollars. Visa fees, insurance, optional excursions, departure or security taxes and personal expenses are not included in the tour price unless otherwise stated. Children’s discounts, Easter, Christmas or New Year’s Eve supplements, if any, are not included in the standard price. We will specify these in your quote if applicable. All prices are subject to change and errors.
The roads in Tanzania / what happens if there are breakdowns on the road:
The roads in Tanzania are of poorer quality than in Europe. Therefore, the vehicles are exposed to extreme stress. The risk of breaking down on the road is therefore real. Replacement vehicles or a garage are not or hardly available. Mounteer and Safari Experts has an extensive network and its own transport managers on site, so that a breakdown is often repaired within a few hours. In the unlikely event that it takes longer, all passengers who could not make a game drive because of this will be partially reimbursed for the cost of the day’s travel.
Visa:
You are responsible for obtaining the required visa. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Tanzania. In addition to your passport, you must have a valid visa. You can apply for a visa via the website from the German Foreign Office “Tanzania Reise- und Sicherheitshinweise” under point 4 E-Visa before departure, duration approx. 2-3 weeks (https://visa.immigration.go.tz/) or upon arrival in Tanzania.
Check Names:
Please check the names of the travelers listed on the invoice carefully. If a name needs to be changed after 3 days of receiving the invoice, we will have to charge a change fee of US $100.
